Store Officer - Banquet Operations

About the role

The Store Officer – Banquet Operations is a contract, on‑site position based in Kathmandu. You will be responsible for managing all banquet‑related stock and inventory, ensuring timely availability of materials, supplies and equipment for banquet services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, issue and track all banquet inventory, maintaining accurate records in inventory systems.
• Prepare and verify purchase requests and coordinate with procurement and banquet teams.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and compliance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with operations and finance to support cost control, prevent wastage and contribute to efficient banquet service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong skills in stock control, inventory management and handling purchase orders.
• Attention to detail with basic numerical/analytical abilities for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Prior experience in hospitality, events or banquet operations storekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and follow established procedures.
• Minimum high school diploma; vocational or technical training in storekeeping, supply chain or hospitality is a plus.
