Study Abroad Consultant – New Zealand

About the role

The Study Abroad Consultant will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, guiding prospective students through every step of their New Zealand study journey. You will provide personalised counselling, manage applications, and ensure compliance with visa and admission requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive profile assessments to recommend suitable courses, universities and countries.
• Provide counselling on study‑abroad options, scholarships, fees and visa procedures.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end application process, including document verification, SOP/LOR drafting assistance and submission.
• Verify student financial documents to meet immigration standards.
• Maintain regular communication with students, parents, university representatives and internal teams.
• Stay updated on visa rules, admission criteria and post‑study work opportunities for New Zealand.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly conversion targets for enrolments and visa applications.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in education counselling for New Zealand.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written English with strong influencing skills.
• High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and an ethical approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Experience using documentation portals for application management.
