Video Editing & Motion Graphics Instructor

About the role

Mindrisers Institute of Technology is seeking a skilled and creative Video Editing & Motion Graphics Instructor on a contract/project basis to deliver practical, industry‑focused training.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, hands‑on classes on video editing and motion graphics.
• Develop and deliver lesson plans, assignments and real‑world projects.
• Teach editing workflows from basic to advanced levels using industry‑standard tools.
• Demonstrate techniques for transitions, color correction, audio editing, effects and storytelling.
• Instruct motion‑graphics principles, animation, typography, visual effects and compositing.
• Provide practical exercises, review student work and give constructive feedback.
• Guide students in building professional portfolios and project work.
• Keep course content up‑to‑date with current industry trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in video editing and motion graphics.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and DaVinci Resolve.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to teach beginners and intermediate learners.
• Practical industry experience or a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Previous teaching or training experience is an advantage.
