Video Editor – Educational Content

About the role

The Video Editor will work on‑site in Kathmandu full‑time, collaborating with instructors and the content team to produce high‑quality educational videos for Loksewa Class.

Key responsibilities

• Edit raw lecture recordings, trim and assemble footage.
• Add graphics, motion elements and visual overlays to enhance learning.
• Enhance audio and visual quality for clear, engaging content.
• Organise and manage video assets and export files in required formats.
• Refine colour grading and adjust visuals to match brand guidelines.
• Support creation of promotional and social‑media videos as needed.
• Coordinate with team members to maintain a consistent style and meet delivery deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong skills in video editing, production and colour grading.
• Experience with motion graphics and educational overlays.
• Familiarity with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines and manage multiple projects.
• Prior experience editing educational or tutorial videos is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in media, film, communications or equivalent practical experience preferred.
