Video Editor (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

This is a full‑time, on‑site Video Editor role based in Kathmandu. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative and production teams to edit raw footage into polished videos that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and assemble raw footage, trim and sequence clips.
• Add transitions, audio, visual effects and prepare final deliverables in required formats.
• Perform basic colour correction and collaborate on motion‑graphics elements.
• Maintain organised project files and meet production deadlines.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, provide creative input and ensure consistency and quality across all video content.

Required profile

• Strong skills in video editing and end‑to‑end post‑production workflows.
• Ability in video colour grading to enhance visual tone and consistency.
• Competence in motion graphics and graphics creation for titles, lower thirds and simple animations.
• Proficiency with industry‑standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop (or equivalents).
• Attention to detail, strong sense of pacing and storytelling, and ability to follow brand and style guidelines.
• Effective communication, collaboration skills and ability to take feedback within deadlines.
• Relevant experience in digital media, advertising or social platforms with a portfolio or showreel.
• Diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design or related field preferred, though demonstrable skills are encouraged.
