WASH & Infrastructure Coordinator

About the role

The WASH & Infrastructure Coordinator will lead planning, technical design, and quality oversight of water, sanitation, hygiene and shelter infrastructure for the Nepal Flash Flood Response 2026. The role ensures timely delivery of construction and rehabilitation works, integrates community awareness, and aligns with national and donor standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assess, design and cost WASH facilities, shelters and related infrastructure in Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts.
• Provide technical leadership on construction quality, earthquake resilience, gender and disability accessibility.
• Coordinate with partner NGOs, government agencies, and supply‑chain teams for material sourcing and technical evaluations.
• Monitor field implementation, conduct spot checks, and produce regular progress reports.
• Support budgeting, forecast, and financial compliance with World Vision procedures.
• Represent World Vision in district WASH and shelter clusters and facilitate stakeholder collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in WASH, building construction, and disaster‑resilient infrastructure.
• Fluent oral and written communication in English and Nepali.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multi‑disciplinary teams.
