Workshop Incharge – Commercial Vehicle Service Lead

About the role

IME Motors Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Workshop Incharge to lead the daily operations of its Ashok Leyland commercial vehicle service centre in Bishnupur‑I, Nepal. The role is full‑time and on‑site, responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high‑quality repair and maintenance services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and monitor repair and maintenance work for Ashok Leyland commercial vehicles.
• Supervise technical staff, enforce safety and quality standards, and conduct quality checks.
• Coordinate job cards, manage workflow, and meet turnaround time targets.
• Maintain accurate documentation, service records, and performance metrics.
• Communicate with customers about service requirements, job status, and technical issues.
• Collaborate with parts, sales, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Track performance indicators, support technician training, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably Ashok Leyland.
• Hands‑on experience in workshop supervision or service management.
• Ability to manage job cards, service records, and workflow planning.
• Basic understanding of inventory and parts management.
• Diploma or degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (preferred).
• Prior experience in an automotive workshop setting with commercial vehicles (advantageous).
• Leadership skills to motivate a diverse team and maintain a disciplined, safe work environment.
