Academic Advisor – UK, Canada, NZ, Europe & South Korea

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Academic Advisor to guide students from Nepal to study in the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and South Korea. The role involves comprehensive admissions counseling, visa support, and pre‑departure preparation for a diverse portfolio of destinations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one counseling sessions to assess students' academic strengths, interests and career goals.
• Research and recommend suitable universities, programs and scholarship opportunities across the target countries.
• Assist students throughout the application process, including form completion, personal statement drafting and interview preparation.
• Provide detailed guidance on visa documentation, SOPs, financial requirements and medical formalities.
• Organize information sessions and pre‑departure orientations to raise awareness of study‑abroad options.
• Maintain strong relationships with partner universities and stay updated on immigration and visa regulations for each destination.
• Track student progress, monitor enrollment targets and report on counseling outcomes.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience as an education counselor with a proven track record in overseas admissions.
• In‑depth knowledge of the education systems, admission criteria and visa processes for the UK, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and South Korea.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of scholarship and financial‑aid applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to manage multiple student cases and meet enrollment targets.
