Part-Time Lecturer – Strategic Financial Management & Accounting

About the role

Biratnagar International College is looking for a practitioner‑academic to join its Business School as a Part‑Time Lecturer for the Strategic Financial Management and Accounting module of the International MBA (Level 7, Semester 1) programme. The role involves delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops and practical activities to MBA students in the early morning schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and coordinate workshops aligned with the module requirements.
• Facilitate practical, case‑based and industry‑oriented learning activities.
• Help students apply financial concepts to real‑world business decisions.
• Provide academic guidance, feedback and support to students.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, assessment marking, student engagement and academic integrity.

Required profile

• MBA or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a closely related field (CA qualification is an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting, including budgeting, investment appraisal and risk assessment.
• Current industry experience in finance/accounting, with priority given to practitioners.
• Postgraduate teaching or training experience and ability to connect academic concepts with real‑world practice.
