Backend Python Developer

About the role

We are seeking two talented Backend Developers – Python to join our growing team in Kathmandu. This full‑time, on‑site role involves designing, building, and maintaining the back‑end systems and applications that power our clients' digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable back‑end systems and applications using Python.
• Collaborate closely with front‑end developers, designers, and other team members to implement features and ensure seamless system functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve back‑end issues promptly.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in back‑end development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in back‑end development with Python.
• Proficiency in at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing and CI/CD.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
