IT Manager – Lead Infrastructure Team

About the role

Act as second-in-command to the Infrastructure Manager, supporting strategic and operational leadership across IT and infrastructure functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of IT Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers, ensuring delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable systems.
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of core IT services including networks, servers, cloud platforms, and end‑user systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with business needs and technology best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support projects, resolve escalations, and ensure infrastructure readiness for business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure or systems engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role.
• Strong technical expertise across networking, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), virtualization, and enterprise IT systems.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage priorities, and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, MCSE, Azure/AWS) are advantageous.
