Business Analyst – Accounting Products (ACCA Affiliate)

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Business Team and help shape AI‑native accounting software across our platforms – FigsFlow, Ledgian, and RentalBux. This position is aimed at ACCA affiliates who can translate real accounting and tax challenges into clear, actionable product requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse accounting, tax and compliance problems and convert them into structured business requirements.
• Break down stakeholder needs into user stories, business rules, edge cases and acceptance criteria for engineering.
• Collaborate with the Product Lead to map accounting logic onto AI‑driven workflows and automation rules.
• Maintain traceability between requests, documentation, and delivered features.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, design reviews and support user acceptance testing.
• Keep requirement documents, decision logs and research on tax legislation up to date.

Required profile

• ACCA affiliate or comparable accountancy/tax qualification.
• Approximately one year of experience in accounting, audit, tax or a related field.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable using software tools.
• Ability to ask clarifying questions and ensure requirements are complete.
