Educational Counselor & Front Desk Officer (South Korea focus)

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Educational Counselor with a special focus on South Korea, who will also manage front‑desk operations at our Kathmandu office. You will guide students through study‑abroad processes while providing professional reception and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct one‑on‑one and group counseling sessions to help students select courses, universities, and career pathways, especially for South Korean destinations.
• Assist students with application preparation, visa documentation, and pre‑departure readiness.
• Stay updated on education systems, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities in South Korea and other study destinations.
• Prepare informational materials, presentations, and reports for students and partner institutions.
• Manage front‑desk duties: greet visitors, answer phone and online inquiries, schedule appointments, and maintain student records.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth office operations and accurate information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of international study options, particularly in South Korea.
• Excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
• Experience in academic advising, study‑abroad counseling, or front‑desk/reception work.
• Organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Professional, inclusive, and supportive attitude toward diverse student backgrounds.
