Engineering Coordinator – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Engineering Coordinator will support the Engineering department of Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day maintenance operations across guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house spaces and building infrastructure. This role is pivotal in keeping the hotel’s facilities functional, safe and ready for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational coordination support to the Engineering team.
• Receive, record, prioritize and follow up on maintenance requests and work orders from all hotel departments.
• Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure timely completion of guest‑room, public‑area and back‑of‑house maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of preventive‑maintenance schedules, completed work orders, breakdowns, repairs and outstanding issues.
• Assist in scheduling and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance activities for equipment, systems and facilities.
• Liaise with external contractors, service providers and vendors for scheduled maintenance, inspections and repairs.
• Organise documentation such as service reports, maintenance contracts, warranties, equipment manuals and inspection certificates.
• Support inventory monitoring, requisitions and availability of spare parts, tools and consumables.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, Finance and other departments.
• Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and documentation.
