Finance and Admin Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Finance and Admin Traineeship for fresh Nepali graduates. The trainee will support the Admin and Finance Coordinator in financial, procurement and supply‑chain administration while gaining practical experience in a humanitarian setting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare journal vouchers for PNGO settlements and enter them in SunSystem.
• Review logbooks and fuel records, generating reports for operational efficiency.
• Assist in risk‑based financial monitoring of partner NGOs to ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Register and verify asset issues reported by PNGOs, supporting closure with proper documentation.
• Validate scanned vouchers against system records for accuracy.
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reports.
• Collect authorized payment documents, perform arithmetic checks, and forward them for payment processing.
• Maintain systematic filing of hard‑copy and electronic documents according to the FFM manual.
• Upload and e‑file procurement and sourcing documents on the SCAI system.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and adhere to deadlines.
