Help Desk Support Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Help Desk Support Trainee to join our IT team. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in diagnosing and resolving user issues while developing foundational IT support skills.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software and network connectivity.
• Log and track all support requests in the help desk system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2/Level 3 support teams.
• Provide guidance and training to users on basic IT processes.
• Maintain documentation of common issues and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for learning IT support fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow documented procedures.
