Mid-Level Electronic Engineer (ESP32)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level Electronic Engineer with strong expertise in ESP32 microcontrollers. You will design, develop, and troubleshoot both hardware and firmware for innovative IoT projects, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop PCBs for IoT devices using ESP32, including component selection and BOM management.
• Develop, optimise, and debug firmware in C, C++ and Python, implementing Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth/BLE and power‑efficient features.
• Integrate sensors, actuators and peripherals, and create communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket.
• Conduct functional testing and debugging of hardware and firmware using oscilloscopes, multimeters and logic analyzers.
• Prepare technical documentation, schematics, firmware architecture and user guides.
• Collaborate with software developers, designers and product managers to deliver complete solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with ESP32 microcontrollers.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools (Altium Designer, KiCad or Eagle) and solid understanding of electronic components and power management.
• Strong firmware development skills in C, C++ and Python, with experience using ESP‑IDF, Arduino IDE or PlatformIO.
• Familiarity with communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C) and IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket).
• Effective troubleshooting skills and experience with test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter).
