Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mid-Level QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks for our enterprise insurance platforms. You will convert manual test processes into robust automated suites, ensuring reliability, security, and high performance of data‑intensive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web applications, services, and RESTful APIs using Playwright or Cypress.
• Write clean, maintainable test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript aligned with the development stack.
• Perform automated API testing with Postman, Newman, or RestSharp.
• Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Analyze requirements, create detailed test cases, and execute regression, functional, integration, and performance tests.
• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with senior developers and QA team during sprint planning, stand‑ups, and code reviews.
• Update test cases to reflect system enhancements and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 1.5 years dedicated to automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Experience testing enterprise‑level web applications and complex data forms.
