Operations Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is seeking a motivated Operations Trainee to support its Field Operations for a one‑year fixed‑term program. The role offers fresh Nepali graduates practical experience in program management, data handling, and logistical support while contributing to humanitarian projects across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update information management systems and databases related to resource management and disaster preparedness.
• Enter, verify, and amend data as required, ensuring accuracy for decision‑making.
• Generate analytical reports and dashboards to support field operations and senior staff.
• Develop communication materials for World Vision platforms and assist with content publishing.
• Support specific project tasks, create and finalize project reports, and coordinate with partner NGOs.
• Assist the GEDSI Lead with assessments and analysis, and help build capacity of staff and partners on cross‑cutting themes.
• Provide administrative and logistical assistance to the Field Operations and Infrastructure units.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (any discipline) with strong interest in humanitarian and development work.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and partners.
• Commitment to safeguarding policies and ethical standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data entry and basic database management.
• Ability to produce clear analytical reports and visual dashboards.
• Strong written communication for creating content and reports.
