Supply Chain Executive – FMCG Import & Operations

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Supply Chain Executive to manage the full import journey for fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG). The role involves coordinating with overseas suppliers, customs authorities, transport partners and internal teams to ensure seamless movement of goods from origin to the unit warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders (PO), pro‑forma invoices (PI), letters of credit (LC) and all import, shipping and commercial documentation.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers, banks, clearing agents, transporters and internal stakeholders.
• Handle Food Department approvals, product/sample submissions and regulatory follow‑ups.
• Oversee customs clearance, shipment tracking, truck placement and transportation.
• Ensure timely delivery of imported goods from port/customs to the unit warehouse.
• Maintain accurate records for import, procurement, logistics and warehouse activities.
• Assist with import‑related payments, invoicing, costing and financial documentation.
• Prepare official letters, reports and correspondence with government agencies.
• Monitor the end‑to‑end supply chain and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in FMCG import, trading, distribution or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of LC, PO, PI, import documentation, customs procedures and logistics.
• Familiarity with Food Department approval processes is an advantage.
• Third‑country import experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to type in Nepali Unicode/Preeti.
• Excellent coordination, communication, documentation and problem‑solving abilities.
