Bus Operator Acquisition Intern

About the role

The Bus Operator Acquisition Intern will work on‑site in Kathmandu, supporting ShuvMarg’s effort to onboard intercity bus operators onto its platform. The role involves field engagement, data collection, and helping operators understand platform features.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential bus operators and schedule meetings.
• Collect and organize operational data such as routes, schedules, and seat inventory.
• Present platform benefits and assist operators with ticketing, payments, and other system features.
• Collaborate with operations and customer support teams to resolve queries and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with ability to work with bus operators.
• Understanding of commercial vehicle operations and basic defensive driving awareness.
• Interest or experience in driver training support and clear communication of operational guidelines.
• Fluent in English and Nepali, able to explain platform features to non‑technical users.
• Comfortable with on‑site fieldwork visiting bus parks, operator offices, and transport hubs.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with mobile apps or web platforms.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in business, management, transportation, or related field.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
