Payment Recovery Specialist – Food Industry

About the role

The Payment Recovery Specialist will focus on collecting overdue payments from customers in the food industry. Working from our Kalanki office, you will collaborate with legal, sales and operations teams to ensure timely cash flow and minimize credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone and face‑to‑face meetings to secure overdue payments.
• Implement recovery strategies directed by the Legal Manager.
• Coordinate with sales and other departments to resolve payment disputes.
• Assist in blacklisting chronic defaulters according to company policy.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for legal recovery cases.
• Track recovery cases, follow up on legal notices and update status regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, recovery status and legal actions.
• Generate periodic reports on outstanding balances and recovery performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Law, Business Administration, Finance or a related field (including +2/Bachelor candidates).
• 1 year of experience in payment recovery, collections, legal coordination, or accounts receivable (freshers also encouraged).
• Valid two‑wheel vehicle licence and willingness to travel for customer visits.
• Strong coordination skills to work with legal, sales and customer teams.
