Pharmacist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join our team in Kathmandu. The successful candidate will dispense medications, counsel clients on proper use and potential side effects, and ensure the safety and quality of all pharmaceutical products.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and process prescriptions accurately.
• Dispense prescribed and over‑the‑counter medicines.
• Maintain precise prescription, inventory and patient records.
• Manage stock levels and ensure compliance with local health regulations.
• Provide clear guidance on OTC medicines and support health‑education initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑quality pharmacy services.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication safety practices.
• Ability to manage pharmacy operations, including inventory control and documentation.
• Effective communication skills for client counseling and teamwork.
• Attention to detail, organizational reliability and confidentiality handling.
• Registered Pharmacist with licensure as per national regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Basic computer skills for using pharmacy management systems.
• Prior experience in a community or retail pharmacy is an advantage.
