Program Development and Quality Trainee

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is offering a one-year traineeship for recent Nepali graduates. The Program Development and Quality Trainee will support the GAM unit and the broader Program Development and Quality (PDQ) department in day-to-day operations, data handling, and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the program team in designing and implementing quality-focused projects.
• Collaborate with the Grants Acquisition team to develop concept notes, proposals, and private non-sponsorship (PNS) documents.
• Gather information for proposals, including site visits when required.
• Coordinate with the MEAL team to incorporate learning and best practices into new proposals.
• Support partner and donor analysis, donor mapping, and preparation of Go/No-Go assessments.
• Prepare communication materials for donor and partner engagement.
• Provide administrative support such as meeting coordination, record-keeping, and tracking of PDQ deliverables.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a Nepali university.
• Strong organizational, time-management and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work with data and conduct basic analysis.
• Willingness to travel to project sites for information gathering.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
