Receptionist and Counselor for New Zealand and Canada

About the role

The Receptionist and Counselor for New Zealand and Canada is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kathmandu. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, while also guiding students through study options in New Zealand and Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, manage front‑desk operations and handle incoming phone calls professionally.
• Schedule, confirm and follow up on appointments with students and partners.
• Maintain accurate student records, perform data entry and handle document processing.
• Provide clear information on study pathways, course and institution selection for New Zealand and Canada.
• Assist students with application preparation, visa guidance and post‑departure support.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and partner institutions to ensure a smooth enrollment experience.

Required profile

• Strong receptionist and clerical abilities, including front‑desk management and record keeping.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with students, families and institutional partners.
• High level of customer service with an ethical, student‑centered approach.
• Experience in education counseling or advisory services, preferably for New Zealand and Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Education, Management or related fields preferred).
• Fluency in English and Nepali.
