Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant – Finance Team

About the role

ARS Financial Advisors is seeking a semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant to join its finance team. The role involves supporting audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and assisting with tax compliance for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in coordinating and finalising financial statements and liaising with statutory, internal and tax audits, including vouching and preparation of audit working papers.
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Support direct and indirect tax compliance – computation, return filing (Income Tax, VAT/TDS) and assessment support.
• Prepare MIS reports, budgets and variance analysis for client management review.
• Conduct financial due diligence and support valuation assignments under senior guidance.
• Reconcile books of accounts, ledgers and bank statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Liaise with clients to gather financial data, clarify queries and ensure timely deliverables.
• Lead a team of accountants and interns while ensuring adherence to internal quality‑control standards and regulatory timelines.

Required profile

• CA Semi‑Qualified with articleship experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and direct/indirect tax laws.
