Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Leapfrog is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own the design, implementation, and operation of its cloud infrastructure. You will work on highly available AWS environments, drive automation, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, and manage secure, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain production environments and cloud‑native solutions.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities for deployment, provisioning, and system management.
• Oversee infrastructure monitoring, scaling, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot Linux‑based remote servers and Windows workstations.
• Analyze security incidents using logs, alerts, and monitoring tools.
• Maintain application, web, and database servers (Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Support AI/Generative AI workloads and explore AI‑driven automation.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and promote best‑practice standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on operational excellence.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate with a growing engineering team.
