Supply Chain Trainee (One‑Year Traineeship)

About the role

World Vision International Nepal offers a one‑year Supply Chain Traineeship for fresh Nepali graduates. The trainee will gain practical experience in procurement, logistics, and administration while supporting the organization’s mission to help vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Manage purchasing requisitions, execute sourcing methods and handle payment/invoicing.
• Support procurement of office supplies, utilities and other assigned categories.
• Assist in market assessments, pre‑bidding activities and vendor registration.
• Maintain procurement records, ensure compliance with audit standards and handle low‑value sourcing events under senior buyer guidance.
• Oversee office supplies and inventory, support warehouse operations and asset tracking.
• File and manage hard‑copy and digital documents according to audit requirements.
• Provide administrative support for meetings, fleet and logistics operations.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from a Nepali university.
• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain or logistics.
• Ability to learn and apply World Vision procurement policies.
• Attention to detail and commitment to organizational values.
