Tax Associate – US Tax Preparation & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Associate to join our tax department. You will work on preparing US individual and business tax returns, supporting tax planning initiatives, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate US individual and business tax returns, creating schedules, reconciliations, and workpapers.
• Maintain audit‑ready documentation for all filings, provisions, and adjustments.
• Assist with federal and state tax audits, compile documentation, and draft responses to tax authority inquiries.
• Support tax planning by gathering client data, performing impact analyses, and helping implement strategies.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline tax workflows.
• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other departments to ensure timely information flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
