Tax Compliance Executive – Corporate Finance

About the role

The Tax Compliance Executive will ensure accurate tax filings, support strategic tax planning, and manage interactions with tax authorities for the corporate finance division.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and vet advance tax, income tax, VAT returns; maintain documentation and prepare MIS of tax compliances across group companies.
• Conduct tax planning analyses, provide optimization advice, and coordinate with finance, legal, and operations teams.
• Coordinate departmental assessment notices and post‑clearance audits, responding to tax authority communications.
• Stay updated on Nepal tax law changes, identify risks/opportunities, and advise internal stakeholders on tax implications.
• Prepare MIS of tax disputes, draft review applications, and support appeals to revenue tribunals and courts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce, accounting, taxation or related field, with semi‑qualified CA or law qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of tax management experience, preferably in CA firms or tax advocate offices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; drafting in Nepali preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
