Android Engineer (Kotlin and Java)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to work remotely on an hourly‑paid contract. You will review AI‑generated Android code, evaluate technical explanations, and create high‑quality reference implementations that help improve AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and reference answers on Android topics.
• Review and assess AI‑generated code for correctness, security, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Identify and document issues in Jetpack Compose/UI, concurrency, memory, app lifecycle, networking, persistence, and build/release processes.
• Fact‑check technical information and produce clear, step‑by‑step reasoning for complex engineering problems.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses to improve model accuracy and reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience building production Android applications.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin (null‑safety, coroutines, flows, sealed types, generics) and solid Java knowledge.
• Deep understanding of Android fundamentals, Jetpack Compose or Views, and modern architecture patterns.
