Information Technology Analyst – UNDP (Open to All)

About the role

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking an Information Technology Analyst to support the Provincial and Local Governance Strengthening Programme (PLGSP) in Biratnagar, Nepal. The position is office‑based, regular, and expected to start as soon as possible for a one‑year contract with possible extension.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for IT infrastructure used by the PLGSP project.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure reliable connectivity and data security.
• Document IT procedures, incidents, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
• Support the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary education or equivalent experience in information technology.
• Experience working in an international or development environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
