Human Resources Payroll Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Manager to manage payroll operations while overseeing key HR functions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll processing, employee records, HR policies, compliance, and day‑to‑day people management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll processing, including salaries, deductions, allowances, overtime, bonuses and settlements while ensuring confidentiality.
• Handle statutory payroll requirements such as SSF, TDS, CIT, leave and attendance, and reconcile payroll data to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain employee records, contracts, onboarding and off‑boarding processes, and oversee attendance and leave management.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and employee guidelines, and address employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters.
• Support recruitment, performance management, employee engagement activities and ensure accurate HR documentation.
• Prepare regular HR and payroll reports, ensure compliance with Nepal labour laws and coordinate with finance and other departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HR and payroll management.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, SSF, TDS, attendance, leave and employee settlements.
• Good knowledge of Nepal’s labour laws and HR practices.
• Analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
