iOS Engineer (Swift & Objective‑C) – Remote Contractor

About the role

You will work remotely as an hourly‑paid contractor reviewing AI‑generated iOS code, mobile architectures, and technical explanations. You will produce high‑quality reference implementations, step‑by‑step reasoning, and evaluate AI responses for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts across iOS topics and write reference answers to guide AI learning.
• Review and assess AI‑generated iOS code, identifying issues in UIKit/SwiftUI, concurrency, memory management, threading, app lifecycle, networking, persistence, and build/release practices.
• Evaluate, rank, and compare multiple AI responses to improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Fact‑check technical information and ensure safe, secure recommendations.
• Provide clear explanations and model solutions that demonstrate best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience building production iOS applications.
• Strong understanding of iOS fundamentals, app lifecycle, navigation, state management, and background execution.
• Solid experience with concurrency (GCD, OperationQueue, async/await) and memory management (ARC, retain cycles, Instruments).
• Experience with networking, data handling, and persistence (URLSession, JSON, Core Data, SQLite, Realm).
• Proficiency in testing, CI/CD pipelines, and App Store release processes.
• Security awareness including Keychain and transport security.
