Medical General Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

SME Careers, a fast‑growing AI data services company, is looking for experienced medical professionals to work remotely as hourly contractors. You will review AI‑generated medical responses, generate expert content, and provide precise feedback to improve the reasoning quality of large language models.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate AI‑generated clinical answers for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to prompts.
• Identify and document errors in clinical methodology, conceptual understanding, and safety considerations.
• Fact‑check medical information and write high‑quality explanations and model solutions.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning quality.
• Develop detailed prompts and training content to guide AI learning across diverse medical topics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (MD/DO, Nursing, MPH, Health Sciences, or related) with strong grounding in epidemiology, clinical medicine, and public‑health principles.
• 5+ years of professional experience in nursing, public health, health sciences, or allied health.
• Excellent clinical reasoning skills, including differential diagnosis and risk stratification.
• Exceptional attention to detail when fact‑checking medical content.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and ability to work independently across time zones.
