Sales Officer – Pipes & Hardware

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Officer to drive growth in the pipes, plumbing, hardware and construction materials market. You will build new business, nurture existing client relationships and meet sales targets across an assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers, dealers, distributors, contractors, builders and hardware retailers.
• Promote and sell pipes, fittings, plumbing products, hardware and related construction materials.
• Visit customers, retail outlets, construction sites and project locations on a regular basis.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate prices and follow up on orders and payments.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics and accounts teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and customer demand.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide regular sales reports and market updates to the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of sales experience in pipes, plumbing, hardware, building or construction products.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of the local market and sales territory.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Valid driving licence may be required for field work.
