Sales Officer – Tyre & Heavy Equipment

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive sales growth for the BKT Tyre division and support heavy equipment sales across Kathmandu and Pokhara. This full‑time, on‑site position involves managing customer relationships, coordinating with dealers, and ensuring smooth order fulfilment.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers, present product features, and close sales across assigned product categories.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, fleet operators, and key customers.
• Conduct regular market visits, monitor customer requirements, market trends, and competitor activities.
• Manage enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order follow‑ups, ensuring timely coordination with internal teams.
• Prepare regular sales, market, and business development reports.
• Support promotional activities and contribute to achieving monthly and annual sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in tyre, automobile, heavy equipment or B2B sales.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑management skills.
• Proven ability to work against sales targets and willingness to travel extensively.
• Good market knowledge and established network in Kathmandu/Pokhara is an advantage.
