AEO/GEO/SEO Engineer

About the role

Bhurtel Law Services is seeking an AEO/GEO/SEO Engineer to join its Kathmandu office. The role focuses on designing and implementing search and optimization solutions that support both internal platforms and client‑facing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software components for search and ranking algorithms.
• Optimize information‑retrieval processes for speed, relevance and scalability.
• Analyze performance metrics and apply data‑driven improvements.
• Collaborate with legal and technical teams to align solutions with business requirements.
• Document technical work, participate in code reviews and continuously improve tools and processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in Information Retrieval and Data Science.
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, algorithms, complexity analysis and efficient data structures.
• Practical software development experience, including coding, debugging and maintenance.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with SEO, AEO and GEO concepts and experience in an outsourcing or service‑oriented environment is a plus.
