IT Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, service‑oriented IT Officer to oversee daily IT operations, deliver technical support, and maintain the reliability and security of our technology environment. The role involves working closely with both technical and non‑technical staff to ensure smooth operation of hardware, software, and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level and second‑level support for hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email accounts and system credentials.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and other network infrastructure.
• Support servers, cloud services, backups and related IT systems.
• Implement IT security practices, including antivirus, endpoint security and system updates.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licences, warranties and equipment records.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software and networking requirements.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting guides and IT procedures.
• Assist in IT projects, system upgrades, migrations and technology implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, operations or system administration.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and capacity to work under pressure.
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
