AI/ML Engineer

About the role

Kalash Services is looking for an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop and deploy intelligent solutions that enhance business processes and operational efficiency. You will work with machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI and large language models while collaborating closely with both technical and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy ML and AI models for various business applications.
• Collect, clean, preprocess and analyse structured and unstructured data.
• Build solutions using Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn and Hugging Face.
• Develop NLP, generative AI, LLM‑based chatbots and automation workflows.
• Train, evaluate, fine‑tune and optimise models, including prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Integrate AI/ML models with existing applications, APIs and data pipelines.
• Monitor model performance, conduct testing and implement improvements.
• Document technical work and follow best practices for model development and deployment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Professional experience in AI/ML development is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn, Hugging Face.
• Experience with NLP, generative AI and large language models.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings and vector databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Understanding of MLOps, model deployment and monitoring.
• Experience with OpenAI or other LLM APIs.
• Working knowledge of databases, APIs and data‑processing techniques.
