Azure Cloud Engineer / DevOps (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join a dedicated client project on a full‑time contract basis. The role focuses on designing, building, and securing Azure solutions, including landing zones, data platforms, and DevSecOps pipelines, while supporting cross‑cloud migrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones following the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Develop and maintain Azure Databricks solutions for large‑scale data processing.
• Implement data governance using Microsoft Purview.
• Create CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
• Lead migration projects from AWS or GCP to Azure, including assessment, planning, and execution.
• Integrate security controls and vulnerability scanning into pipelines (DevSecOps).
• Configure monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, and optimise cost and performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Experience working in client‑facing, agile environments.
• Proactive ownership mindset.
