CUDA Hardware Specialist

About the role

The CUDA Hardware Specialist will join Helium Horizon Computing’s Bāgmatī office to design, implement and optimise hardware architectures that enable GPU‑accelerated and CUDA‑based workloads for the company’s AI‑powered enterprise solutions. The position is full‑time and hybrid, offering flexibility to work partly from home.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware architectures that support GPU acceleration and CUDA workloads.
• Create, assemble and test hardware prototypes to validate performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with software and AI engineering teams to align hardware capabilities with product requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability or integration issues in computer hardware systems.
• Document hardware designs, participate in code and design reviews, and support capacity‑planning and scalability strategies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in hardware development and engineering, with experience building and validating hardware systems.
• Proficiency in circuit design, schematic capture and PCB design for high‑performance computing solutions.
• Knowledge of hardware architecture concepts for GPU‑based and parallel computing environments using CUDA.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware configuration, diagnostics and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with CUDA programming concepts and NVIDIA platforms (a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
