Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the expansion of our premium baby care and healthcare product portfolio across modern trade, pharmacy chains, and institutional customers. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strategic partnerships, and launching new products in a competitive FMCG environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market entry and channel development strategies to increase market share.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with distributors, key accounts, and modern trade partners.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high‑performing sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform strategic decisions.
• Oversee distributor performance, conduct regular business reviews, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure successful product launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 7‑10 years of progressive sales and business development experience in baby care, FMCG, or healthcare products.
• At least 3 years in a middle‑management or senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
• Strong network within pharmacy chains, hospitals, and modern trade outlets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
