Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our client base and enhance our sales approach. This hands‑on position blends field work—meeting clients and closing deals—with strategic input on marketing and sales processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential clients, partners, and new market segments.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing.
• Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
• Build long‑term relationships with existing clients and grow accounts.
• Contribute ideas for campaigns, promotions, and positioning based on field insights.
• Collaborate with marketing on collateral, offers, and lead‑generation activities.
• Track competitor pricing, offers, and market trends and report findings.
• Help design and improve the sales process, including lead flow, follow‑up cycles, and conversion tracking.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, pipeline, and client interactions.
• Prepare weekly sales reports and pipeline updates for management.
• Support setting targets, territories, and incentive structures as the team expands.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing.
• Valid driving licence and two‑wheeler for regular field visits.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable with cold calling, client meetings, and field work.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
• Experience with a CRM system (plus).
