Sales Consultant

About the role

The Sales Consultant will promote and sell automobiles to prospective customers, achieve assigned sales targets, and maintain strong customer relationships. The role involves guiding customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell vehicles, achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Generate new leads through walk‑ins, referrals, networking and field visits.
• Conduct follow‑ups, arrange test drives and provide detailed product demonstrations.
• Prepare quotations, coordinate financing and insurance, and manage all sales documentation.
• Coordinate vehicle delivery, provide after‑sales support and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, gather competitor information and report sales performance to the Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a TSLC/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical engineering.
• Prior experience in automobile sales or general sales, with a target‑oriented mindset.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM systems for lead and customer management.
