Cashier – Fine Dining

About the role

The Cashier will manage billing and payment operations for guests at Bagaichā, a multi‑concept fine‑dining destination in Nepal. Working as part of the front‑of‑house team, the role ensures a smooth, accurate, and professional checkout experience while collaborating closely with service, kitchen, and management staff.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process guest bills, orders, payments, and receipts.
• Operate POS and billing systems efficiently.
• Handle cash, cards, digital wallets, and other approved payment methods.
• Apply discounts, complimentary items, voids, refunds, and adjustments according to company procedures.
• Maintain cash drawer balance and support daily sales reconciliation.
• Coordinate billing and payment concerns with service and operational teams.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries about bills, prices, and transactions.
• Assist with opening and closing cashier procedures and report any discrepancies.
• Uphold confidentiality and follow financial control and security protocols.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and presentable.
