Circulation and Business Development Executive

About the role

New Business Age Limited is looking for a dynamic professional to lead the growth of its circulation and subscription base for the New Business Age Monthly and Aarthik Abhiyan Daily publications. The role combines sales, market development and relationship management to expand readership across individuals, businesses and institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to increase circulation and subscription numbers for both publications.
• Identify, approach and acquire new subscribers, including individuals, professionals, businesses, institutions and corporate organisations.
• Conduct regular market visits, generate new business opportunities and represent the publications at promotional events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective subscribers.
• Present subscription propositions, convert prospects into subscribers and manage renewal processes.
• Monitor subscription renewals and implement customer‑retention initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, prospects, subscriptions and collections.
• Provide market feedback on customer preferences, competitor activity and circulation opportunities.
• Achieve monthly and periodic circulation, subscription and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, result‑oriented professional with at least one year of experience in sales, business development or media circulation.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Proactive approach to market research and opportunity identification.
• Ability to work independently and meet defined targets.
