About the role
The Diplomat Nepal, Nepal’s first dedicated diplomatic magazine and media platform, is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Sub‑Editor. The role involves editing and proofreading news, features, interviews and analytical articles to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency across both digital and print platforms. You will also support the Editor in planning daily content and developing compelling headlines and story angles.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and proofread news stories, features, interviews and analytical articles.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, structure and consistency of published content.
- Coordinate with reporters, correspondents and contributors.
- Develop headlines, introductions and story angles.
- Support the Editor in planning daily digital and magazine content.
- Cover and edit content related to diplomacy, foreign affairs, international relations and national affairs.
