Client Specialist – Frontline Customer Support

About the role

The Client Specialist is the first point of contact for customers, helping them navigate complex financial products with empathy and clarity. You will support users through in‑person, phone and digital channels, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience and ongoing satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality client support across multiple channels, answering queries about service features, client status and guidelines.
• Onboard new clients by conducting needs assessments, explaining eligibility, documentation and repayment structures in clear language.
• Maintain accurate client data, perform document verification and ensure KYC compliance in both physical and digital systems.
• Escalate complex issues to internal teams while managing client expectations and follow‑up timelines.
• Collect and log client feedback to improve service workflows, product usability and user experience.
• Support field outreach campaigns and community awareness drives to promote service adoption.

Required profile

• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, CRM systems).
• Customer service experience in banking, micro‑finance or telecom.
• Strong interpersonal and active‑listening skills.
• Ability to explain concepts simply and clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• 1‑2 years of experience in client‑management services.
