Data QA Engineer

About the role

Under guidance, the Data QA Engineer performs data analytics activities that address complex business problems, delivering insights to decision makers. The role supports both internal project teams and external client consulting engagements within the pharmaceutical and life‑sciences sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct basic quantitative and qualitative analyses to support solution development for internal and external projects.
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in large datasets.
• Create specifications for reports and analyses based on business needs and available data elements.
• Produce datasets and reports using existing IQVIA tools.
• Verify data for accuracy and completeness, and manipulate data to optimise analyses.
• Audit own work and that of others to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Work with standalone data systems or enterprise‑wide tools for inquiry resolution, data validation, and trend analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience, preferably with pharmaceutical data.
• Strong data analysis skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.
• Understanding of business processes and the life‑sciences marketplace.
• Effective time‑management capabilities.
